You can rent them per hour/day in different places at the village Not far from town there is a bike trail circuit created by the National Park for this use, also ride along Provincial Route 41 to Lago del Desierto (gravel) or Provincial Route 23 towards Lake Viedma.(asphalt)It’s a different way of getting to know Lago del Desierto and the Rio de las Vueltas valley, on a mountain bike.
This road has no steep slopes, we recommend a minimum of experience riding on gravel roads. Also a goog physical condition is recommended as it is a 3 to 4 hours ride. Difficulty: medium. Distance: 37 km. Height difference 120 mts.( down from lake to town)
The town of El Chalten also has a bike path that runs along the Rio de las Vueltas, its length is about 2 kilometers, it is on the way to Lago del Desierto.
