Taking the gravel road RP41 to the north, after 15 km. You get to Rio Electrico bridge (there are bus and car services that take you as well) , from this point a trekking path through a Private Property begins, that will take you after a 2 Hs hike to Los Troncos refuge , an entrance fee is charged
The area is a private campsite with excellent views of the Marconi glacier and the northern face of Mount Fitz Roy. It is also a the normal way to the Southern Patagonian Icefield.

Se accede por la RP23 en dirección norte, a 15 km. se llega con bus o vehículo al puente del Río Eléctrico, desde allí comienza una senda por PROPIEDAD PRIVADA de 2 Hs hasta el refugio Los Troncos, donde se deberá abonar un acceso al lugar. En la zona se encuentra un camping privado y una excelente vista al glaciar Marconi la vertiente norte del cerro Fitz Roy. También es una entrada muy utilizada al hielo continental.
